Lisa Baumgartner:
Lisa is an Environmental Studies and Human Ecology (Sociology/Anthropology) joint major from Berea, Ohio.  After graduation she plans to move to New York City where she will work for a few years and gain experience in the non-profit sector.  Her future goals include going to graduate school in London for Development Studies.  Lisa wants to dedicate her future to helping bridge the inequalities that exist today between the developed and developing worlds.  Central to this endeavor is an emphasis on sustainable development that is done by the people and for the people.

Devin Green:
Devin is an Environmental Studies and Pre-Architecture joint major, graduating in January 2005. She is moving to the Colorado Rockies to slow down for a while, and is planning on attending a Sustainable Architecture graduate program in a few years. Her environmental long-term goal is to raise the awareness of global warming and its impacts on everyone and everything, and to design buildings that will assist people in not compounding the effects of said warming. But, because she doesn't really like to think about the long-term right now due to her impending graduation, she thinks about the short term instead. Short term: a lot of good skiing and hopefully a great job in event planning, architecture, or interior design in Colorado.

Nicole Grohoski:
Nicole is a Environmental Studies and Chemistry joint major from Ellsworth, Maine. Upon graduation, she plans to bike across the country, meanwhile begging people for jobs relating to local environmental quality issues. Long-term goals include catalyzing a
cultural paradigm shift that will result in greater care of the environment, more time spent on personal and interpersonal growth, and an economy for the people, by the people.

Spencer Taylor:
Spencer is a 23-year-old senior from Brooklyn, NY. He is an Environmental Studies Major at Middlebury College with a focus in religion and philosophy. Upon graduation, he plans to find a job with as little responsibility as possible. His long-term goals include working to diminish the qualities within himself which he feels represent what he dislikes most about American culture.

Nolan Weltchek:
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Nolan came to Middlebury in an attempt to reconnect with his inner wilderness. He enjoys playing jazz saxophone, writing plays, and playing country club sports. He is an Environmental Studies Major (focus in Environmental Policy) and Political Science joint major. His hope for the future is to make money by suing polluting corporations (empowered by the Bush administration's lack of environmental ethos) that are currently destroying the air and open spaces that he had hoped his children and theirs would be able to enjoy for the full extent of their lifetimes.
